Is social media now a better media relations tool than the press release?
We have heard for some time "the press release is dead", but that statement seems to just invoke fear in the PR and marketing community.
In 2011, PR professionals are finding new channels to communicate through. And while the press release is no longer the sole owner of company news sharing, we can't rule them out completely.
